Vårt samhälle är i många avseenden välfungerande. Ändå hopar sig problem i människobranschen. Kris i skolan, kris i integrationen, kris i skjutvapenvåldet, kris på SiS, kris inom psykiatrin, kris på fängelser och kris hos socialtjänsten. Det verkar även vara kris inom förlossningsvården och på vissa håll kris på hela sjukhus. Man kan ana att det är något i vårt sätt att organisera människobranschen som brister. De lösningar som sätts in verkar sällan leda till förbättring. Nu i somras till exempel kom det fram att Statens Institutionsstyrelse skulle satsa på bättre kommunikationsstrategier i samband med att det avslöjats brister i hur de sköter sitt uppdrag. Det kommer knappast leda till en förbättring för de unga som bor på deras institutioner.
Det ligger nära till hands att anta att det finns något i vår tidsanda som gör att vi inte ställer oss rätt frågor. Och om vi ställer fel frågor kommer vi få fel svar, hur korrekta svaren än är, på de frågor vi ställt. Läs mer>>>
Our society is well-functioning in many respects. Nevertheless, problems are piling up in the human industry. Crisis in school, crisis in integration, crisis in gun violence, crisis in SiS, crisis in psychiatry, crisis in prisons and crisis in social services. There also seems to be a crisis in maternity care and in some places a crisis in entire hospitals. One can sense that there is something in the way we organise the human industry that is lacking. The solutions that are put in place rarely seem to lead to improvement. This summer, for example, it emerged that the National Board of Institutional Care would invest in better communication strategies in connection with the revelation of shortcomings in how they carry out their mission. It will hardly lead to an improvement for the young people living in their institutions.
It is easy to assume that there is something in the spirit of our times that makes us not ask ourselves the right questions. And if we ask the wrong questions, we will get the wrong answers, no matter how correct the answers are, to the questions we asked. Read more>>>
